Re: What exactly should a TOP TEN vote represent?
You see what I mean about different ideas on what a TopTen vote actually means? We already see differing opinions on the vote and how it is done and what it represents. I think a top ten should be based on all factors... Record, schedule and the factors like injuries to key players. Yes it's true t...

Re: What exactly should a TOP TEN vote represent?
There must be some good stuff in the water in Beaufort... A no name team who's schedule is arguably the softest in the entire 4A in SC who's given up 145 pts should be ranked ahead of a school who has more state titles than you have winning seasons...       ...

Re: What exactly should a TOP TEN vote represent?
SO you would have a 5-0 Beaufort team ranked in front of a 1 loss Byrnes team in your ranking even though Byrnes lost to the #1 ranked team in the state? Most knew Goose Creek was going to run over Beaufort last week while not many would expect a 41 point blowout if Goose Creek were to play Byrnes....

Re: What exactly should a TOP TEN vote represent?
In MY opinion, teams should be rated as follows: 1st-All undefeated teams should be ranked ahead of teams that have lost. The reasoning, until a team loses a game, no matter to whom, there is no real guage as to how good or bad they really are. A team can only play the teams that are on their schedu...

Re: Bracket Projection as of 10/12/13
...Fort Dorchester just cannot beat Summerville? So Region VIII will likely go to the winner of the Beaufort -vs- Summerville game. As for this week's match ups, you got to start with Region II showdown at Nixon Field. Byrnes hosing Gaffney . Winner will be heads up on the track to the Region Champ...

Re: SF Bruins turn back scrappy Sumter
Sadfort is coming.................just sayin'. Congrats on this fine season. Too bad that the rest of that region is so weak this year. Tough games during the season are a blessing come playoff time. It is hard to get a real handle on how good your team really is until you match up against another r...

Re: Woe is me and the Conway Tigers
Hey "Rific"......don't hang your head. This is high school football and quality talent seems to run in cycles. I have witnessed it for more than 40 years now.........success brings on complacency, and that brings on mediocrity. Conway has a proud tradition and the Tigers will be back. Some years you...
