Re: AAAAA Regions & Playoff Quick Look
So theoretically Gaffney, Spartanburg and Dutch Fork could all be in the lower 5A division? Sheeeesh One thing that we all are going to have to get over are the words LOWER, DIVISION TWO , etc. The size of your school population determines that not the quality of the football program. Does anyone d...

Re: AAAAA Regions & Playoff Quick Look
Will it still be upper and lower state brackets. Or go back to cross bracketing? No one knows for certain but my thoughts: If the number is 32 and they divide in to Divisions 1 & 2, what if the divisions are like this: JL Mann 1 19 Dorman 2 1 James F Byrnes 2 4 Boiling Springs 2 8 Clover 3 10 Lexin...

Maybe you should ask why someone would sell out for any coach that is going to leave at the next thing that comes along...Red Raiders 02 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2024 5:48 pmYou can give some the word and they'll still ask why you didn't give them the moon and stars also
I mean it's not like there is not a track record established already....

5A & 4A Regions & Playoff Quick Look
I'm posting this using the same idea from the last time we had split brackets, which was 16 teams in Division One and 16 teams in Division 2. Now, none of us knows what the brackets will look like until they post something on the website; but basically if they do it like the past, the teams in yell...

Re: Best programs in the state?
Well you were right about this I don’t know why people can’t have a discussion about other teams without talking about theirs. Thanks for playing FAN = Short for fanatic which means a person filled with excessive and single-minded zeal, especially for an extreme religious or political cause or spor...

Re: Realignment Appeals
"water down the playoffs" My thoughts... (1) We currently (as of 2023) had 32 of 35 AAAAA teams in the playoffs, I don't think it could be much more "watered down" than that. (2) So what if we give out 6 trophies, does that make those players that won a trophy feel any less excited? Who is the perso...

This is the same way I feelbringthewood wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 11:50 pmAgain, SC isn't big enough or geographically close enough to have 5A.
SC should have gone back to a 3A system and then split every sport for the playoffs.

Re: Hey DFOLDMAN
The NCAA is going to have to look at the early signing period and transfer portal and the effect it has on Coaches leaving, players choosing to leave or stay... It seems to me that the way things are set up now, we have a lot of issues. I have been surprised at how fast some of these openings have b...
