In region 5 Socastee wins the three way tie and Conway has tiebreaker on St James. Barring an upset by Conway or St James the order will be

Another thing wrong is only 4 region games. I like bigger regions like the old days. It’s virtually impossible to make work geographically when you only have 36 5A teams. They totally ruined 4A football with this 5A nonsense.

I’ve been saying that plus go back to splitting the top division.

Just a little help on region 5. Assuming Conway, Socastee and St James finish tied. Socastee wins the three way tie then Conway has head to head on St James.

Not enough of those schools to have their own league/championship. Given the size of SC, probably never will. NC, GA and FLA have much larger populations. When they start the one in Spartanburg, I'm sure they will be looking for another area for the next one, maybe near Myrtle Beach or Greenville. ...

The 3 classifications do make the most sense..however I would hate to see Gaffney have to drop to the lower 3A division…. :? Especially this year after that NW beat down :lol: :) :lol: :oops: Mikey it’s a perception thing. No way the SCHSL will adopt this unless they start out at 5A and move down.

We can’t beat Aynor or anyone for that matter right now but we will be back soon. Going to take three years to get out of this hole we’re in. I liked it too but too much of an ego problem at the SCHSL that’s why we have 5A. That’s why I said drop 1A and call it whatever you want. I’m not looking for an easy way or everyone gets a trophy but it’s been proven there’s too much disparity in the top class.

Go back to what we had. Division 1 and Division 2 in the top classification. Point’s system where every game counts. Eleven game regular season and four playoff weeks. Pierce is going to be the strength and conditioning coach but it’s going to be interesting if he runs the defense or brings in a DC? He might bring in a few from his Lamar staff. I know he hired 4 or 5 new ones last year including a new OC.
