FLORENCE, S.C. — Hartsville coach Aric Samuel is running out of adjectives to describe Jaylen Shaw.

The senior added to his legacy Saturday night when he hit the game-winning shot and then blocked the potential game-winner as the Red Foxes defeated rival Darlington 64-62 in the Class 3A lower state championship in front of a capacity crowd at the Florence Civic Center.
