Don't Miss Pre-National Championship Player Eval Camps

Post by ksubaseball »

The Kennesaw State University Baseball staff is excited to announce that for the first time ever we will be hosting 2 Pre-National Championship Player Evaluation Camps at our Kennesaw, GA campus which is located conveniently between LakePoint and East Cobb. These camps will take place on Thursday June 30th and Thursday July 7th which are the days directly preceding the 17U and 16U Perfect Game National Championships.

With coaches from all over the country gathered in Atlanta for each of these events, we thought it only fitting to try and make their job easier by hosting these player evaluation camps. Instead of driving all over Georgia trying to see players, we are trying to bring as many players to one place as possible so that coaches can get an initial skill evaluation prior to the tournament beginning.

The camp is designed specifically to give coaches all across the country an initial look at players prior to the event without hurting the attendees ability to perform the next day and during the tournament. As a result, no games will be played but players will be given ample opportunity to showcase their abilities.

The preliminary schedule for the event includes:

Speed Evaluation
Primary Position Instruction
Defensive Evaluation
Offensive Evaluation
Bullpen Sessions

There will be 3 possible sessions each of the 2 days as follows. Session 1 9:00-12:00 Session 2 1:00-4:00 Session 3 5:00-8:00. The cost for attendance is only 99.00 and team discounts are available for teams bringing 10 or more players cutting the cost to 80.00 per player. To sign up simply visit http://www.ksuowls.com/camps" target="_blank but act fast because space is limited for each session.

***Owls Baseball Camps are open to any and all and are only limited in number, age, grade level, and/or gender***
