Varsity split two games with SA, series finale is scheduled 7pm Friday at MVHS. Playoff implications are on the line. Tbreds took game 1 4-2 on Monday then Mustangs run ruled SA 13-3 in game 2 (tuesday). Midland Valley is now 4-4 in region play, lost 3 to Airport, took three from Aiken and 1-1 with South Aiken. Airport leads region 4 AAAA and is smoking everyone. The Eagles are good.
C Team and JV were scheduled for a dbl header with Batesburg Leesville this afternoon but that is now cancelled due to rain. C Team hosts Strom Thurmond Thursday for a double header starting at 5pm. C Team and JV both travel to Irmo Saturday. C Team plays 10 & 12 and JV will play at 2pm.
Season is winding down for the C Team. Next week they have three games at the Gilbert tournament (South Aiken, Gilbert and White Knoll) to conclude the season.
