C Team swept Westwood's freshman team 18-1 and 21-0 on Tuesday night, moving to 3-0 on the regular season while outscoring opponents 51-2 thus far. Travel to Batesburg Saturday morning at 11am seeking some revenge for a debacle in the preseason tournament which saw the Panthers defeat the Mustangs 7-4.
JV swept Brookland Cayce 4-1 and 6-0 on Monday night, starting the regular season 2-0. Traveling to Strom Thurmond tonight for a dbl header (5/7).
Varsity dropped both games to Airport this week, 11-0 Monday and 10-0 Wednesday night. Traveling to Airport Friday night 7pm for the final game of the three game series. Airport has strong pitching and the Valley boys (predominately freshmen and some sophomores) weren't ready for that caliber of pitching.
