Lions 2023 Season Ends

Season unfortunately comes to an end for the Lions, we finished with a 10-13 record. In the month of April we played Pendleton and Crescent in region, losing both times to Crescent and splitting with Pendleton. In our non region games we won all 3 against BHP, Blue Ridge, and Greer. Made the playoffs in District 4 and lost to BHP then Woodruff finished us off. We had a team that relied heavily on underclassmen so we can hope next year will bring better success. The best thing that could happen to this team is a new coaching staff but that probably won’t happen. With what we have coming in the C-team and Youth programs, we need a good coach to push this team over the hump.
