I can tell you for certain Wade Hampton doesn’t have as many students as Gaffney
What a debacle!
Is Fort D, Summerville, Dorman, Spartanburg and Hanna in the big 5A group?

If they go strictly by the numbers and split it. And when your talking about the schsl that’s a big if
Then all of those schools with the exception of T l Hanna would be big 5A or upper 5A
Can we come up with a name that’s agreeable to everyone involved

Btw looking at the numbers Hanna happens to be right below your favorite school of all time
The Green Wave
Again it’s a debacle!
Would pull for the Russian National Team before the Greasley Green Wave...and I know you would too!

If they do it the way before, then first they determine who makes the playoffs (points, finish, voodoo, etc...) then those are divided into big and little.

So the biggest school would always go up, the smallest would go down, and those in between could be either up or down.

I don’t think there’s any way to do a point system and frankly the schsl is too lazy or inept to go back to one.
Furthermore it would throw the non region schedule into chaos. 5A teams would be dumping lower classification games for 5A games only. This is really a messed up situation. This state should have 4 classifications max.
Only 205 schools play public football in this state.
Texas plays 6 divisions split 2 ways but have over 2800 public schools. That’s over 230 schools per division. They have more schools in one division than SC has schools.
Should be 50ish schools per division 4 ways and leave it at that. You get some depth and quality at least. It’s real simple but the schsl sees an opportunity to have another round of playoffs and another championship game that people can pay extra for.

Finally, some Six Mile logic. 50 or so per classification, and four classifications. It's like participation trophies now...like Oprah...you get a title game trophy and you get a title game trophy and you get a title game trophy...silly. As long as DF gets to prevent the green slime from S'ville from winning one, Dfold will be happy...lol....and so will Slick.
