Always optimistic about the Silver Foxes....think this season will be another strong one. 2025 and 2026 are the seasons my son was looking to for something "special" as he calls it. 2016 was a surprise to be honest...2018 there was guarded optimism but no one really knew just how good that team would be- head and shoulders better than other teams. The best DF team in my opinion.
The 2020 season was a strange season but with the addition of Will Taylor and the state's official introduction to Jarvis Green it was another favorite. All the DF faithful looked at the freshman class during 2019 season and we all thought the 2022 season would be something really strong, even with the departure of Devin Hyatt to IMG, once they got healthy by the time region play started those last 9 games in the 2022 season, DF was a steamroller.
My son tells me 2025 and 2026...look out. Although, I have high hopes for 2024 as with every season. A lot of underclassmen got a lot of play time last season and it should bode well, (injuries always an equalizer) for 2024.

And as always...

Spartanburg beat your swamp/silver foxes at home last year. As i recall you were predicting a HUGE blowout against the BURG!! I see you're trying to bring that old tarnished crystal ball back out. Then when the foxes fall flat on their faces you will start crying about injuries like you did last year. Tap a nap oldman!! :D

Well...what I said to Dub about being nicer....I didn't mean it.

And "the burg" should have won in 2022 during regular season if it wasn't for Jarvis Green...almost the same game except DF lucked up with a FG at the end and not a turnover...not the same teams at playoff time though, huh? Once those injuries healed...lol.....YOU KNOW....5A title runs through the greater Ballentine Megalopolis...Kinda like Ric Flair said...."Ain't gotta like it, just learn to love it...because it's best thing going...today."

Apparently, "The Burg" (sounds about right) needs to find another Byrnes cast off to get a title. Check with the Rebel fans, they might know something. Colby, help your favorite people...those from "The Burg"... when you get a chance.

Not sure why you would send them Rebels way. They are on a bigger dry run than the Vikings. And the way they are losing all their quality players to surrounding teams the return to former glory doesn’t appear anywhere in sight.
