SHRINE BOWL 2018 COACHES

The coaching staff for the 2018 South Carolina Shrine Bowl coaching staff was announced at Saturday’s game. Dillon head coach Jackie Hayes was named the Sandlappers’ head coach. Hayes has won seven state titles since 2008 at Dillon.
The staff will have a Lowcountry flavor as three area coaches were selected as assistant coaches. Fort Dorchester head coach Steve LaPrad, Baptist Hill head coach Marion Brown, and Hanahan High assistant Steve Blanchard will serve on the South Carolina staff.
Also selected as assistant coaches were Spartanburg head coach Chris Miller and Bethune-Bowman head coach Ken Tucker.
