Fort cupboard will not be bare thats for sure. Hell the backups played as much as the starters. The new qb will be solid. We do have some players coming back and stepping in. The secondary will be young but on offense we have playmakers with ton of experience

What the playoff system will be and how it will be structured? :?:
Where will the "Hybrid" region teams be placed in the brackets? :?:
5A isn't too bad, at least there is an even number of regions.

My solution on 5A is to not bother trying to figure out an "at large" and just give the last two berths to the 8 team regions 1 and 2. The catch is those lowest seeded teams go into the lower state bracket.

Automatic playoff berths
5A-1 6 of 8
5A-2 6 of 8
5A-3 3 of 5
5A-4 3 of 5
5A-5 3 of 5
5A-6 4 of 6
5A-7 4 of 6
5A-8 3 of 5

Which results in brackets that look like this:

Upper state
#1 region 1
#4 region 2
#2 region 4
#3 region 3

#1 region 3
#5 region 2
#2 region 2
#3 region 1

#1 region 2
#4 region 1
#2 region 3
#3 region 4

#1 region 4
#5 region 1
#2 region 1
#3 region 2

Lower State
#1 region 5
#4 region 6
#2 region 8
#3 region 7

#1 region 7
#6 region 1
#2 region 6
#3 region 5

#1 region 6
#4 region 7
#2 region 5
#3 region 8

#1 region 8
#6 region 2
#2 region 7
#3 region 6

Link to the map of 4A

What a mess. 4 in Aiken, 3 in Beaufort, 2 in Horry, 3 around Rock Hill, Colleton Co. and O-W off by themselves. Those kids are going to spend a lot of time on their buses. (All sports)

But you are using common sense and the SCHSL in the same sentence so that obviously is not going to be the answer...

I do hate to see that in Beaufort's Region 8 4A there will only be 4 teams in it. So that means there will only be 3 Region Games in Football. That means that each team will have to find 7 other teams to play against :o . Beaufort's Football Schedule hasn't been finalized as of yet that I know of but just wait until you see some of the teams that Beaufort will be playing next Football Season. My Eagles will be traveling to some far away places and some other teams will be making a long trip to Beaufort. I am really looking forward to seeing Beaufort playing some new teams and I do love to travel. But I hate seeing that My Eagles will only have 3 region games next season in Football. It will surely be interesting.

GO BEAUFORT EAGLES!!!!
Beaufort Head Football Coach Bryce Lybrand is 41-17 after his 5th Season at Beaufort
2022 3A State Football Champions
3 State Titles in Football
I have attended 624 Beaufort Football Games
GO BEAUFORT EAGLES!!!!
