5 Byrnes High School 2,368

44 South Florence High School 1,627
46 Laurens District 55 High School 1,607
47 Greenwood High School 1,583
49 Berkeley High School 1,547
I'm sensing sarcasm.
To be fair, the article was referring to Union currently having a 300 student advantage within 3A Region 3.
Let's see how your Region looks....

------5A Region 6---------
4 Carolina Forest High School 2,425
27 West Florence High School 1,833
34 Socastee High School 1,724
37 Conway High School 1,688
41 St. James High School 1,636
44 South Florence High School 1,627

Carolina Forest "only" has everybody in your Region by 590+. ;)

Those are last year's 135ADM numbers which were used in the current realignment process.

Currently working on a chart comparing the difference in enrollments within the Regions and how many times larger the biggest schools are within those regions.

Well as a St. James Sharks student (I’m 16 Years old) and a fan of them as well, I was LOOKING FORWARD to being with in 5A. Personally, I would rather be with Socastee due to the Major Rivalry. By my calculations we have what 48 teams in 5A if I’m right pending lawsuit? I really hope the lawsuit, although I don’t Know about Y’all, keeps the classifications as they were scheduled to be, or at the least the teams that are suing are put where they are and we go with the 2018 plan with the modifications. Plus, St. James would NOT be the smallest school in 5A, Sorry South Florence and Greenwood should the realignment stand as is.

Davidjr1030, generally we don't pay excessive amounts of attention to anything SLICK says but it's generally accepted protocol that players, coaches, and parents don't post or at least if they do that they keep their affiliation discreet and close to the vest. Thanks for sharing though.

I woke up this morning, that's a positive!
Right now I am vertical, on top of the grass
and I don't hear harp music! All good things!
