Thats crazy that there are rules that the high school league has and fees you have to pay to broadcast a game in the playoffs for radio

I think they have those fees in place to offset any losses of ticket sales that typically occur when games are broadcast.

Regular Season rates are 'typically' set by the school districts.
I recall an Easley game (a few years ago) not being broadcast on a local radio station because our School District charges a radio broadcast fee.
WCCP instead carried a Seneca game and on the broadcast stated that they chose the Oconee County game because they have no such fee.

I'm not sure how much they charge or if that fee is still in place?

Any idea if Gaffney (Cherokee County) charges to broadcast the Indians games? :?:
