Lucas will be the only series running this weekend and they will be back in the south at Dixie Speedway and Rome Speedway in GA. The World of Outlaws will be off this weekend and most of their guys will race but there will be some that will use this time to get their cars ready to come to the Dirt Track World Championships and then to Charlotte for the World Finals as they get ready to crown their champion. If you haven't been to the World Finals in Charlotte you gotta go at least once and check that show out. They run it Thursday Friday and Saturday and it is the Woo Sprints the Woo late models and the UMP Big Block Modifieds and they will crown champions in all 3 series on Saturday night

Well the points championships for Lucas and World of Outlaws have officially been clinched. Jonathan Davenport is your 2019 Lucas Oil Series Points champion and Brandon Sheppard is the WOrld of Outlaws champion. There are only 2 races remaining for both series. This weekend the Lucas Oil series will wrap their season up at Portsmouth Raceway Park for the 39th running of the Dirt Track World Championship and the winner will walk away with a cool 100K grand prize.

Last weekend the Lucas series was in Georgia for 2 races the first one was at the Dixie Speedway and say a Georgia native Micheal Page steal a win from the national tour series regulars. Then the next night they were supposed to move over to Rome Speedway but that was canceled due to weather.

The Woo series has been off since October 5th after the race at 411 and will be back in action the first weekend in November for the World Finals in Charlotte

Have you ever heard of running a dirt late model mini series in the south in January well here is your chance to watch some of the biggest names in the country come south and have a shot at 25K in a 5 race mini series called the Xtreme Dirt Car Series. The series will start in November at Cherokee for the Annual running of the Blue Gray 100

2 weeks from the last major touring series event and it will be a 3 day show in Charlotte at the Dirt Track and it will be a show to remember. The big dawgs have been in Charlotte for the last week doing some testing and getting things ironed out for the race weekend coming up. I am looking forward to this event and should be a barn burner of a weekend. Can Sheppard get that magic number 19 to break the record and to cap off on a magical season that has earned him well over 500K this year and winning some of the biggest paying events of the year
