Newcat. Thanks for the comment. I believe the 44-0 loss to Fort Dorchester was the reason for none of our voters to include Berkeley as a top ten team.Newcatntown wrote:Um.....yall dont think Berkeley is as good as Abbeville? Or any other team past 5.

Has it really come to this for Berkeley fans?? Attempting to argue they are a top ten team as they come off a 44-0 loss?? Geeze people!Newcatntown wrote:Um.....yall dont think Berkeley is as good as Abbeville? Or any other team past 5.
Re: Statewide Broadcasters' Top Ten: Week 5
What that is imho is a lack of respect for fort Dorchester. Because we are lower state.we cant be that good because we are down here.some cases are right.but not this year.our defense is the real deal.,WRHIRadio wrote:Newcat. Thanks for the comment. I was at that game...Berkeley has a very good defense. LaPrad worked the officials pretty good at the half...dont let that score throw ya off....they will win out reg season and do well in playoffs.FootballFan4343 wrote:Has it really come to this for Berkeley fans?? FIRST OF ALL, NEWCAT IS HARDLY A BERKELEY FAN, BUT I AM. FRANKLY, WE GOT SMACKED BUT HOPE YALL ALL GET TO PLAY THE FORT, LOSING TO THE FORT WAS BAD, BUT NOT ENOUGH TO DROP OUT. I UNDERSTAND WE HAVE TO IF THERE IS A TEAM THAT HAS NOT LOST. WE ARE HARDLY A GREAT TEAM AND AS THE GAMES GO ALONG, WE WILL BE BACK, POLLS ARE LIKE BEHINDS WE ALL HAVE ONE. DO I THINK THE FORT SHOULD BE SO LOW, NO. EVERY TEAM THE FORT PLAYS WILL FEEL THEIR POWER AND DEFENSE. I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR 55 YEARS, SO I FEEL I KNOW A LITTLE BIT, HAHAHA, AT THE END, WE WILL BE REGION CHAMPS AND A HIGH SEED.

Fort should at least be 2nd. But it’s sometimes nice to be the under dog and not get any respect. While the first place team is technically “undefeated “ there is a blimish on their record. Gonna be a good game!!
Re: Statewide Broadcasters' Top Ten: Week 5
Forget the seedings, just look at the top 10. The only change that I would make is Daniel replacing South Pointe. No argument that with that change you would have the 10 best teams in the state this year........so far.
The "Godfather" didn't whine like The "Slobfather" is doing, when he got INDICTED!!!!!

Re: Statewide Broadcasters' Top Ten: Week 5
Look, maybe I am off base here, but I don't believe any team that loses 44-0 should still be a top ten team. I would be willing to bet that they would drop out after a 44-0 loss to a top 4 team. Especially considering they were 10th last week, according to the link I found (http://www.wrhi.com/2019/09/statewide-b ... k-4-153415). Again, maybe I am wrong here, but I don't see how Berkeley can have a beef with dropping from 10th after losing 44-0.Fortfor5 wrote:What that is imho is a lack of respect for fort Dorchester.
