Was able to watch the game streaming online. Rainy and sloppy....still too many penalties, but when DF is in the groove, it is fun to watch. Dutch Fork ran the ball 31 times for 343 yards and was 13 for 13 passing for 224 yards. 44 offensive plays for 567 yards. And this is not against "Skippy McCrappyteam". As much as we chirp about them, Chapin is a pretty good team.
Jarvis Green ran the ball 12 times for 149 yards and 5 TDs, and Antonio Williams had 120 yards receiving and 3 punt returns for 192 yards and 2 TDs. Still a lot of young guys in the wings that are extremely talented. All starts with the best OL and best DL in SCHSL. They control the game. Big, athletic and deep. The DL platoons about 8 on and off, just wear out the opposing OL. The OL misses Big Jack but they have stepped up...DF seems to have a pipeline of big OL.
DF seems to be hitting their stride at the right time.
