We live in south carolina . Especially along the coast . Not knocking anyone pointing fingers ect .
I find it hard to digest .
Kids playing travel football ball all day 90s wet humid .
I just don't see how this was called.

I mean I know how it was called.
Just from a general atmospheric stand point .
That's damn near everyday of the week.

100% accurate. Everyone in this state has the same conditions. I would even say in the midlands it’s much worse. Columbia can be the hottest place on earth.
This is just an absolute bad look . I feel bad for the fans of Rock Hill but the only way to change it is to voice your displeasure and unfortunately not attend the games .

You can’t treat kids today like 60 years
Ago.it was hot back then and we got no
Water at practice.coach said it would kill
You to drink water when you got that hot.
I think he was lying.if you took your helmet
Off that was 4 laps around the field.i guess
Kids probably died back then from heat stroke
You just never heard about it.no one I knew had
Air cond. in the house or car.i would hate to
Do without it now

That's true. Use to be you were outside all summer doing stuff in the heat, so by the time the season rolled around you didnt have heat issues. Now, kids don't go outside. I was born in the 80's, so my 90's were spent outside. Riding bikes, playing pickup games of every sport, drinking out of the hose at whoever's house we were close to. Only rule was be home when the street lights came on. We would go to the school, eat a free lunch, maybe swim in the creek.

That's my whole thing. We knew what the weather was going to be the night before when this game was scheduled for 10:00 a.m.. "We're in South Carolina" like it has been mentioned.
As someone else said, why not schedule it for Saturday night? College football hasn't really started yet.
With respect to the wet bulb rule and safety - everyone who was there knows that that game was called because it was one-sided.
That statement is with full acknowledgment of what the rule is!
There is no way that game is called if the teams were evenly matched and it was a close game.
Choose to Lead or you should choose to "get out the way" of those who will lead!

We weren't competitive in the half "we did play"! Probably saved some wear and tear for the Stallion players prior to their Mallard Creek game. I wish we could have given SP a game!

You can't really say anything! I don't know what that was!

Anything over 87 on the thermometer means football can't be in full pads. The "back in my day" discussion doesn't apply to the rules the SCHSL have set. Coaches should've made better decisions with the reschedule.
