Dillon vs Wilson

Post by 1 CAT FAN »

The Wilson Tigers are 2-0 and have plenty of momentum after wins over Aynor and Marion. Looking ahead, coach Rodney Mooney sees another team that has been winning for quite some time.

Roller, in his second year as Dillon’s coach since Hayes’ retirement, is impressed by the Tigers’ start.
“His team has improved, and it will be a big challenge for us because Wilson is very, very athletic. They’re big and coming off two wins to start the season, and they’re excited about it.

We'll see how far Wilson has come tonight. Hope Dillon doesn't get caught looking to next week against Hartsville.

Dillon escapes Wilson with 42-35 win

Whew! That was a close one.
Dillon was behind 27-14 early in the game, down 35-28 at the half.
Shutting out Wilson in 2nd half to win 42-35. Looks like Florence County has three major teams this year in Wilson, South Florence, West Florence.

Dillon was very fortunate to come away with a win.
