Bulldogs played hard, but couldn't overcome a kick return td and 2 Red Devil td's set up off of turnovers deep in our own zone. The amount of progress made since the Union game is amazing. Defense wrapped a lot better, didn't over pursue as bad.
Now on to Chapin. Never easy playing a 5A school, and Chapin usually has size and athletes. I'll be glad when we get to play schools our size in a few weeks and can see what we do.

I'll be honest, I really don't see them as a force in the upper state unless they find a passing game. Now they have some players, their rbs run the ball hard, but they aren't unbeatable. A lot of motion, a lot of counters, pullers all over the place. A defense that plays fundamentally sound will shut them down.
We gave them the ball inside the 5 and inside the 35 on turnovers. Add in the kick return after we had driven for a score and you can't overcome that against anybody. I didnt hang around to hear the final stats, but I know near the end of the game we were up in time of possession. Turnovers killed is. We given up 28 points off turnovers in 2 games and lost twice by about that margin.

Not as big up front as last year from what I saw. Clinton had some maulers last year. They also are sneaky with motion. Their were a bunch of times 1 wing would go in jet or orbit motion and the other wing would start moving before the snap. Once our coaches alerted the linesman, they started getting flagged for it.
