Saluda-96

Post by 96fanatic »

The Tigers won 39-15 My Wildcats played
a decent 1st half score was 15-8. got creamed
the 2nd half.Saluda has a good team.over the last 8 years
they have had some good talent in the program they may
not lose a game till playoffs.Emerald may be able
to score some points on them next week.one of
the Tigers running backs is a freshmen.if that kid stays
healthy the next 4 years he will be outstanding.
side note-after to many years it is good to see
coach Brian Neal back
on the 96 sideline coaching linebackers

So, after leading the charge to fire Neal when he was the head coach now they have him back to try to save the baby boy's job? How classy, and what a great example for the kids. A guy at work from Ninety Six told me that the only reason Neal is back is because his grandson is playing now. Ninety Six is as bad as we are.

Why is Emerald not playing Abbeville this year? Probably first time since Emerald started. Back yard rivalry, sort of, though Abb has won most of them.

My guess is that we are running from real competition trying to accumulate wins, same thing with 96, their schedule is pathetic. We need to clean house and start over. I see no promise at all.
