sumter at the ville

Two run oriented teams should be a dogfight.

I wonder how the new Qb for Sumter has looked? :?:

Sumter has responded by scoring 48 and 35 in the 2 games since the starting Qb went down with injury.
Defensively, the Gamecocks are giving up about 17 pts per game.
Spring Valley is the only team to score over 21 on Sumter.

Summerville gives up 19.5 pts per game.
Notably, they held Fort D to their season low of 34 points.
Dorman and Summerville are the only teams to hold Fort D below 40 points this season.

This should be a good game! :!:

Excited and nervous about this one. I believe this will be a low scoring game with the winner likely winning by a FG. Hopefully my birthday gift is a Summerville win .

Using this phrase...I think you’re taking Sumter lol.

If Sumter can stay balanced, I like our chances...but Summerville is at home. Only Ontra Harvin’s 3rd start. There are more reasons why Sumter should lose this game than win it, but the same thing was said in 2013. We got to be able to run the ball, stop the run, and most of all keep the penalties to a minimum. We would have put 70 on White Knoll if it wasn’t for penalties.

Congrats to Summerville. It wasn’t funny how evenly matched we were. Sumter was a score away from winning...but at the end of the day we coughed it up deep in our own territory. Plus, you can’t teach 6-5.
