I'd be shocked if McManus stayed at SP. One has to feel that he must have had every indication that he would be the next head coach, as Herron leaving for the charter school was one of the worst kept secrets in the upstate. But because of he and Carroll going to the new place one has to wonder if the SP folks didn't think that a former player, who also played in the leg may be able to stem the tide of the recruiting that all in Rock Hill are scared of.

McManus looked at all options. How does the pay compare between Rock Hill and Spartanburg? Very persuasive. Throw in the new charter and SPe is not as quite as attractive.
