I saw less High School this season than any year in my entire life. The weather screwed up a number of weeks and other family commitments. 4 years ago I saw 32 games in one year. Only 17 this year.

2018-08-17 Jacksonville NC vs. Southwest Onslow in Jacksonville NC (out of town on a Friday)
2018 08 24 Byrnes 41 21 Northwestern
2018 08 31 Dorman 35 24 at Northwestern
2018 09 07 Out of town
2018-09-13 Byrnes 26 7 at Spartanburg
2018-09-21 Byrnes 34 14 Gaffney
2018-09-28 Dorman 34 33 Spartanburg
2018-10-05 Byrnes 31 20 Mauldin
2018-10-12 Byrnes 31 45 at Dorman
2018-10-19 Byrnes 42 35 at Hillcrest
2018-10-25 Byrnes 55 21 Boiling Springs
No Games in Upstate on 11/2
Playoffs
2018-11-08 Dorman 52 Greenwood 0 (left at half time rain)
2018-11-16 Out of Town
2018-11-23 Byrnes 27 22 Gaffney (Stayed thru the entire thing)
2018-11-30 Byrnes 28 57 TL Hanna (left at half time rain)

Out of State
Wednesday, Sept 12 Cary and Holly Springs (Raleigh)
Tuesday, Sept 25 Forest and Byrd (Fayetteville)
Wednesday, October 10th East Carteret and Trask (Morehead City)
Tuesday, October 23rd Chocowinity Southside and Jones County (Little Washington)

North Carolina scheduling was practically every day a game being played somewhere due to the hurricane.
Outside of Sunday, there was a game just about every day during the month of October.

Thanks for the posting Newcatntown ....Would be very interested in all posters thoughts on the "quality" of the stadiums visited as it relates to size, conditions, experience, ease of access etc.......Hope that makes sense......

Spring Valley game against Beaufort a few years ago and then Rock Hill against Stratford

It has been like 10 years or so I would guess.

I have clients in Morehead City. Probably spent close to 200 nights at the Sheraton / Double Tree on Atlantic Beach
over the past 10 years. Great restaurants down there. I am down there probably once every other month.

Small world huh? You know that sawed off pier at the DoubleTree....it of course got that way from the 6 or 7 hurricanes to hit there in the last 3 decades....I used to surf their growing up and JUMP off of it when the waves were too big to paddle out!!! :o  The pier was of course 300 yards long back then.

The football school near there is Havelock High School... that is my Alma Mater. They are currently undefeated and playing for Eastern State Title this week...again.

Charlotte Catholic beat them in Wallace Wade last year for state title!!!
