Thank you everyone. It happened about 1:30am on Tuesday Morning and it came after about 9 years of struggles.

DeCav as seen her and can tell you, she was a fighter and she never seemed to catch a break. While I will miss her greatly, knowing that she is no longer in pain and no longer in need of all that pain medication and wheel chair helps me through the days and nights so far. I still have times where I seem to struggle, but the outpouring of love has been amazing.

We had graveside services on Thursday and on Saturday at three in the afternoon, we will meet at Duncan First for a Celebration of Life service where we will share great memories of her, reflect on how she loved and hear the choir sing {one of her favorite past times}. If you are in the area, please join us.

I woke up this morning, that's a positive!
Right now I am vertical, on top of the grass
and I don't hear harp music! All good things!

Just wanted to update you guys and gals... and to say thanks for the encouragement, prayers and messages.

After all those years together, 38 plus years, it is not easy to move on, but sometimes life gives us no other option. I've had a tremendous amount of support and have been able to make progress. She was sick for so long and battled hard for 9 years before infections finally took control. While I miss her, knowing that she doesn't suffer any more makes it easier for me to go about my life.

The ones who have suffered the most are the grandchildren who miss Mamma J and really don't understand. My son is having difficulties still, but we were lucky to enjoy a great relationship with both our son and daughter so of course they miss her.

Keep those prayers coming, and I look forward to seeing many of you at some time this season. I may try to make a trip to a few new places this years, see some match ups that I've heard about but never witnessed first hand.
