I also forgot to mention you can create teams in the android app now and schedule games for the future(or the past I suppose) instead of it just assuming it was happening right now.

Thanks again.

All of the scoreboard links in the initial post have been updated for Week 11.

The scorestream app allows you to set up a group of folks directly from your phone's contacts list. At any point you can click a couple of buttons and send out an SMS text to the group you've created that updates them with the current game status. You can also bang out a message along with the score update the app sends with the message.

Of this is useful if you have folks who either don't have the app or don't have a smartphone who depend on your updates. You can keep both the scorestream users and the text folks on board at the same time without going back and forth between the app and your phones text engine.

Now what's really cool for me is the fact that my current iOS on my phone doesn't support groups. I can generate a group on the fly to text but I have to scroll and add them one at a time. The text function on the scorestream app is so much better than my iPhone's own function for group texting. I will probably use the text function next week for those who still want some text updates.
Okay, I just figured out how to do this and setup my list. You are right, the text functionality in ScoreStream is better than the standard ones in the iPhone.

I have been using the app for some time now and like most of the features. I do find the camera feature to be a little confusing. I usually eventually get to post my message with the pic but it seems like I go around in circles a little bit before I get there. I guess I am use to apps such as facebook which will allow you to type a message and then if you want to add a picture you can either take a pic or browse to add a pic.

I have to agree about the pic feature. It seems a bit overly cumbersome. It could definitely be streamlined. It seems as if you have to choose a pic twice before it posts it. It would be great if we could eliminate a step in posting pics. And I know why Mike brought it up. During a game every second is precious. It's easy to miss a great play while using the app.

Having said that, the vid feature is awesome. I was able to film a big first down play and immediately upload it real time.

I avoid the Facebook feature because it causes my scorestream app to lock up which is a shame because I think more users would find scorestream if the Facebook feature worked.

*** a note for iPhone users: if your scorestream app ever locks up you don't have to restart your phone. Just get to your home screen and double click the home button. This allows you to "flick" away (shutdown) only the scorestream app which saves time.
