It appears to be "normal operation". I guess we just never noticed. I just sent you a PM over on PFT by typing your name and not hitting the [Add] button, a preview popped up and I had to hit [Submit] again before getting their 404 error. I went back and checked my outbox, it went on the 2nd "submit".DeCav wrote:Wow. Good sleuthing dude! So you have to hit the add button. Wonder if there is a code fix for this. Might be able to track it down doing a hocus focus with the unmodified PM box. That or just post the question on phpbb forum.

Re: Bllinking PM box
I'll be darned. That kind of makes sense. Most of the time I send a PM it's because I clicked the button on a post or the link on the user's profile page. Although I know for a fact on PFT that I sent a couple of PM's this week where I just typed in the users name without clicking add....or at least I thought I did. Anyway that's a relief. I guess it won't be the problem I thought it might be.
On another note, my zero messages state cannot make up it's mind what color it wants to be. Yesterday afternoon it was blue most of the day and then slowly on one device at a time it became yellow only showing blue while loading pages and then it stayed yellow all the time. Then this morning between 8 and 10 it was blue again here at work and now it's yellow.
Oh well, I don't really care. If it's blue and hard to read then that means you either don't have any messages or you've at least looked in your inbox.
Reactions are unanimously positive. I've gotten about 5 replies already since last night giving big thumbs up from various members.

And now the zero messages is blue again. Down right schizophrenic.

All of my PMs are going to Outbox and not being sent. How can I correct this issue? I am using safari on an iPad.

PMs (private messaging systems) work a little differently than Email.Football Maniac wrote: ↑Thu Jul 22, 2021 10:09 amAll of my PMs are going to Outbox and not being sent. How can I correct this issue? I am using safari on an iPad.
PMs go to the Outbox once they are sent.
PMs will only go to the Sent folder once they have been read by the recipient.
If a PM is still sitting in the Outbox, it means it hasn't been read and received yet.
Emails go to the Sent Folder once they have been sent.
You don't know if they've actually been read and received unless you tag a notification receipt to the email.
Hope this helps.
