SCHSL releases new five-classification alignment proposal

The South Carolina High School League released the new five-classification alignment proposal to schools across the state on Monday morning.

The alignment is just a proposal, and schools will have until September 17th to submit appeals. Once final, the new alignment will begin in the 2016-2017 school year, and last through 2018.

Region 5

move Hillcrest, Greenwood, and Laurens out of Region 1. :shock:
Replace with JL Mann. 8-)

That seems fair and it makes perfect geographical sense,
your maps will look awesome! ;)


I think Jerome Singleton and the SCHSL are doing a wonderful job! :mrgreen:

Here's a link to the 5A Map. I'll add the others as I get them done.

They did about as well as anyone could with the geographic clusters, but they've tossed the smaller schools under the bus. The uneven regions will cause some real scheduling headaches.
