FLORENCE, S.C. — Brayden Hatchell says he doesn’t mind being in pressure situations.
The South Florence senior proved that with the game-winning hit and two scoreless innings on the mound as the Bruins knocked off second-ranked Conway 6-5 on Wednesday.

South Florence wins second straight over Conway

CONWAY — Josh Johnson scored the eventual game-winner on a wild pitch in the top of the eighth inning and freshman right-hander Lindsey Robinson notched a complete game from the mound to help South Florence beat Conway 4-3 on Thursday in Region 6-4A baseball.
South (6-9, 2-7 Region 6-4A) beat the Tigers (7-5, 3-3) for the second night in a row and took two of three in the series this week.
