AA DII Brackets

Post by pluffmud »

Brackets are out. Bishops like their path to Lower State Championship game. Woodland would do BE a favor by beating the Bluff and saving a trip up there in a rematch of last year's LS game. Down side is playing the same team twice in the same year. BE soundly beat Woodland two weeks ago..playing the best all-around game of the year. BE still has some improvements to be made before they can be considered a serious contender for a 3-peat. Understand the Bluff has speed and athleticism with many returners from last year.

As usual, most of BE's opponents this year have been bigger, faster, and more athletic than the Bishops. BE has been in a rebuilding mode this year after losing 22 seniors from last year's squad. The excellent 4-man coaching staff has done an almost miraculous job of moving the pieces around to make the team competitive ,..after 2 season opening losses to AAAA West Ashley and AAA state champ favorite Hanahan. There are only 2 players on this year's team that have ever experienced a region or playoff loss. BE is still making a few player adjustments to prepare for the playoffs.

The real season begins now!

Good Luck to the Battleing Bishops Pluff, Would love to see my Wildcats play you guys in the SC.

The Buccaneers picked up another win (9-1) and Crogin is leading the way. This week against Coastal Carolina will be the defining factor.

That Coastal game will be huge. Glad Danny has been able to step up. Good luck next week.

It would be great to see 96 if we both get that far. I feel I know 96 better the BE with the constant drama provided by the nutjob over there. Good luck.

Looks like the worst we can do is a second round win. I hate the bye week.

yeah...really don't like the bracket, 2 teams from the same region have to play each other in the 1st round...... then the winner has to play another region team......guess it is what it is, haha.
