Job Opening Rumors

Jimmy Noonan just got his years in to retire. He never moved from Mount Pleasant and his wife is an attorney there. I believe he’s done other than maybe helping out on somebody’s staff somewhere. Besides, I know he used to apply for every job that came open. Greg Porter used to do the same.

Actually I think the school board chairman is the one that had CT fired and it’s my personal opinion that he has told the administration to hire outside the Conway family to avoid this kind of situation we just got out of. That’s only one reason why Jody wouldn’t be approved for rehire. There’s another one but I don’t know exactly what happen so I won’t speculate. The AD will want to keep it in the family again but Mickey Wilson is the only candidate qualified and I don’t think that will happen unfortunately.

What did he do? Seems like a good guy. He’s won 45 games sine he left Horry County.

All I know is he was the runner up to CT and when he didn’t get the job he resigned Aynor without a job lined up. I think it was the way he left burned his bridge now they won’t approve him for rehire. Conway needs an outsider with no ties to the community and Jody is a former OC here. I hope the school district is going to make us hire the best coach possible and not another unqualified one just because of Conway ties.
