I've been doing some reading over at Forumatic's support forum, their phpBB platform is pretty limited. We can't add any additional code to the forum pages other than the limited sections that support insertion of advertising. Most other content would have to be hosted elsewhere and linked to from here. For example: All the stuff we have been putting up in "Links & Resources"

However.... you can imbed an image that is hosted elsewhere. If that image is updated at the host it will update here whenever the page is refreshed. Additonally, allowing Flash code in a post is an option and I enabled that function when I setup the board. [ Notice the "Flash" button above the text entry box. ] Not really sure how to use it.

The forum also supports "oEmbed" enabled links. That's the feature that allows links to pop-up and display some content from the linked site. You can make it display some text, an image or play a video. We might be able to use this feature to display a live scoreboard without the need to refresh the display constantly, which will drive our page-view count through the roof.

Here's a couple examples, the little switch next to the link toggles the oEmbed code on and off. Sorry about the audio, but it's the only video example I have.
