Can anyone challenge "60 ppg Chapman" in upper state?
Someone please tell me that there is a team in the upstate that can give Chapman a decent game so these boys can get at least one good fight under their belt before we get to Dillon in Columbia!

If anybody will it would have to be Chester or Camden
Re: Can anyone challenge "60 ppg Chapman" in upper state?
Now they might get better, but they better start. Chester just isnt as good to this point as they were last year. They lost a lot of good players. Not nearly as dominant up front, especially on defense. They gave up 50 to Indian Land last week and held on for dear life for a one point win. And Indian Land isnt very good.
Haven't seen Camden so really wouldn't know about them. But this time last year most all had just conceded the upper state to Chapman. Playoffs came around and they got tested by Emerald. Then Camden pushed them to the brink. Then Union beat them. Chapman is awfully talented, and very well coached. And should be the odds on favorite. But I'd be surprised if someone doesnt come out of the woodwork and pose a challenge.

It's doubtful that Chapman had a running clock and shortened quarters in their games.BretJust1T wrote:Cyclones are loaded again. And Floyd says they'll throw the ball much more this season

Dorman and Byrnes ????
Re: Can anyone challenge "60 ppg Chapman" in upper state?
Maybe. And I know it isnt much of a real indicator as teams are working on different things, but Chapman handled Byrnes fairly handily in a half at a jamboree this year.

Fake news!
You do realize they did an hour practice before scrimmage

Please read my post before the comment. I said you never know what teams are working on during that time of year. Even so, if that is the case, Byrnes must now be miracle workers to be able to play as well as they do for three hours on Friday night if an hour practice totally gassed them two months ago.

Camden is averaging 42.5 per game and have defeated the following teams...
5A- West Florence, Lugoff-Elgin and Ft. Mill
4A - Hartsville and RNE
2A - North Central
Doesn’t matter what these teams current records are when it come playoff time....everyone is 0-0!
