Well they took blood, checked under the hood so to speak, and nothing wrong, so the surgery is a go for Friday Morning.... probably about ten in the morning, unless they get behind.

Thanks for all the encouragement and prayers.... I'm ready.

I understand your pain, I've been cut many times.

Praise God they have all been 1 and done.... at least cut, cut, cut, and done.

Well, it's almost time.....

I'm hoping they get what they have to out of there, do the graft, patch things up and bandage me and send me home saying, "once the grafts heal, you will be ready to go!"

I know God has this and when they get in there, if they do find more than they expect, or worse yet, if they find it has spread into my lymph nodes, I'll still trust that he has it under control.

Well tomorrow I report at 5:30AM to the hospital for the second surgery where they take the mess they created on the first surgery and try to "pretty things up" is how the surgeon put it....

I told him if he was going to pretty me up he better book that surgery room for three days at least. The word from the oncologist was they got the entire tumor but the bad news was that it was bigger than they thought so they made a really big hole in my nose. This second surgery is to clean up the graft, ensure that the nasal passage is open and I have a good airway and smooth things out where the graft was left attached so that things could grow together in the weeks since the first surgery.

I'm not going to lie, it has been uncomfortable; but I know it could have been much much worse! They are 97% sure the cancer has not spread into the lymph nodes so the only issue that I should have is with the skin grafts and a disfigured nose...
